Not receiving our emails? 

If you should be receiving emails from the HLSA of Massachusetts but you’re not, here are a few steps to take:

• Make sure you haven’t blocked HLSA emails, and that they’re not getting stuck in your spam filter or some secondary Gmail filing structure.  (Try adding hlsa@law.harvard.edu and email_watch@omnimagnet.net to your safe sender lists, or adjusting your Gmail filters.)
• Check your HLSA profile to make sure your contact information is up to date, and you haven't opted out of receiving communications.
• Log into this specific website, using your Harvard Key.  Once you log in, you'll be added to our mailing list. 
• If you haven’t yet claimed your HarvardKey, contact the HLS HarvardKey support line at +1 617-495-5631 or HLS Alumni Records at alumrec@law.harvard.edu.

Past Events

The Harvard Law School Association of MA sponsored its third Cooking Class for its members on Thursday evening, December 5, 2024 at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. The event was oversubscribed quickly with a long waiting list of members who had signed up. We will probably repeat the event in the spring.

Barry White, president of the HLSA of MA, welcomed the guests who enjoyed each other’s company, who cooked delicious dishes for each other and who dined together on the feast that they prepared for themselves under the tutelage of the Culinary Arts chefs. The dishes they prepared and dined on included Israeli couscous and fig salad, maple basil glazed salmon, marinated steak salad, pan fried chicken breasts, roasted fingerling potatoes, coconut curry stir fry with shrimp and chicken, pesto fusilli with sausage and spinach, southwestern shepard’s pie, roasted pork tenderloins, wilted Swiss chard, topped off with a desert of freeform apple tart with caramel bourbon sauce and crème anglaise. The participants included a number of HLS students as well as alumni. Set forth below are pictures of the participants at the event.
