Conversation on Impeachment & Democracy with Ambassador Norman Eisen '91

Ambassador Norman Eisen, a distinguished alumnus of HLS, will be the speaker on the subject of impeachment and the role that impeachment plays in our democracy. Ambassador Eisen was majority counsel for the House Judiciary Committee in the first impeachment proceeding against then President Trump.
He served as the White House ethics counsel in the first Obama administration. He then served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic. He is a frequent commentator on cable news tv and has written a book entitled "A Case for the American People: The United States vs Donald J. Trump" that details the inside story of that impeachment process. Ambassador Eisen is a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution.
